Happy 20-10 Birthday Kendra

Happy Birthday Kendra!
I know you don't want to turn 30 but you should be super proud of who you are and where you are in life. I am so proud of you, my smart, beautiful, and successful daughter. Enjoy this new age and embrace it. Love you Mom.

Happy 14th Birthday Logan!!!

We celebrated Logan's 14th birthday on Sunday.
His grandparents wanted to take us out to dinner and the restaurant had a cake for the birthday person. Logan didn't want a cake this year, so a free cake thrown in after dinner worked great!
We ate at that small town supper club. The kids were not impressed with the unseasoned beef. We can always cook better then any restaurant and are always reminded of that when we are disappointed by the meal and the cost.

Sunday for his actual birthday, Logan requested we have bunch, or waffle's!
Morning breakfast for the birthday kid.

Opening a few gifts...At his age, cash is king!
The weather was super nice again, almost 70+F, which never happens on Logan's birthday! It's usually cold and snowing or we have snow on the ground.

Tim took out his car and drove the kids to Hasting after breakfast by the Mississippi river to have a some wings/fried foods and drinks. We followed behind their car.

We had nice drive out in the country to get to Hastings.

Dinner it was just the four of us. We decided to drive to St. Paul and go have some pizza with some pastries from Cosetta's.

Braces for Logan

Logan got braces Tuesday. He was excited to start the teeth straightening process.
Before pictures. I thought it was pretty cool how they had this screen up of Logan's teeth.
The whole putting the braces on the teeth was super quick.
Can you see them? I can hardly tell he even has braces. He picked gray for his band color. With the actual brace being clear and just the thin wire it's super hard to tell he even has braces. Kind of nice! Most people choose the metal. It's bit more for clear but so worth it!

Logan will be in braces for two years, 8th and 9th grade. At least he will get them off at the start of 10th grade!
I already like this ortho. She gave Logan a high tech tooth brush with blue tooth, and a gift card to get a frozen juice

After our juice, we walked next door to try out Zantigo. When it's Tuesday, it's taco time!
